The MTP® LGX Cassette
system is a pre-terminated high
density fiber optic cabling
solution designed to speed up the
process of deploying a fiber
optic connectivity system. Using
MTP® Connectors,
MTP® Adapters and ribbon
fiber cable. All the components
are pre-terminated and tested.
The system components simply plug
together, offering a complete
high density fiber optic network
in a fraction of the time for
conventional field installation
practices.
The system is comprised of
three basic components:
1. Ribbon backbone cables,
pre-terminated with high density
MTP® Connectors and a pulling
eye.
2. Cassette modules plugged
into the back bone cables and
distribute fibers to standard
interfaces: LC, FC, SC and
ST.
3. 7" LGX rack mount patch
panels to house the cassettes and
the cables.
